Our primary instructor/ coach Ara Andonian is a local radio personality, morning drive Beach radio 101.3 He has over 20 years in the industry as DJ, announcer and is a successful voiceover artist with at least 2 Super Bowl Commercials to his credit, among many others. Damon Gregory I was in the radio industry for a few years in the 80’s, and wrote some local radio jingles.

EMC uses professional quality condenser microphones, Focusrite digital interfaces and Reaper as our DAW. We also offer SOURCE CONNECT remote recording technology. This allows allows and actor to be in our studio and connect/ record with any studio in the world, live and in real time

The duration of an actor’s session typically depends on their contract, but it generally ranges from 1 to 2 hours. Studios prioritize maintaining the quality of work by avoiding overworking the talent. Additionally, we offer services for voiceover audition taping, which typically takes around 30 to 40 minutes, depending on the length of the script or audition content. In larger markets, the cost is typically 50% of the mentioned amount. These services are priced at approximately one-third of the total cost to ensure accessibility and affordability for our valued clients. We offer audition taping services at a rate of $60 for a 45-minute session, which includes editing and delivery of the recorded footage. For voiceover recording, the cost is $60 per hour. During the recording session, the talent is typically directed remotely by either the recording studio or the project director to ensure optimal performance and meet the project’s requirements. The talent has the final say in selecting which audition takes to submit for consideration. They have the creative control to choose the best performances that showcase their abilities. Regarding remote recording, the selection and editing of the recorded material is typically handled by the other studio or production team.
