Casting Director Workshop with ANGELA QUINN-Observer – November 3, 2024

For those actors who may not feel ready, or are unable, to do the full 2 day workshop, these seats are for WATCHING the full experience of the actors and Angela.  This is a chance to watch the participants deliver their scenes, take the re-directs from Angela, and learn what is valuable and memorable to the casting director/ director and production company/ network.  It’s also a great chance to be part of the Q/A after the workshop.

As a member of the Casting Society of America and the Castings Directors Society of Canada, Angela is one of the busiest casting directors in Western Canada. She has cast over 200 film, television & new media productions to date and her projects can be seen on Netflix, Prime, The Roku Channel, The Hallmark Channel, The W Network, A&E, Lifetime, CityTV and several other networks & streaming platforms currently available. Angela was recently nominated for a Leo Award for casting, and many of her projects have been nominated for Canadian Screen Awards over the years and were official selections at TIFF, VIFF, WFF and VAFF among many other film festivals worldwide. She is also the Artistic Director of her own theatre company, The Creative House, which is based in the South Okanagan region of BC.
