Starting with the storyline/ character breakdown and sides, students learn to quickly identify the “arc” and where they belong in the story. Then with a short amount of time, working alone, or with partners, learn to memorize and deliver a “solid read”. Then, repeating weekly, students learn to work from their “gut” on cold read auditions with very little time to prepare. You will learn to trust your impulse and Improv skills while making strong choices with intention and clarity. You will then get 2 “takes” on camera with a reader and then review as a group with supportive and honest critique. Everyone gets a chance to be the reader to better understand the other side of the audition process. This is essential and continued training to improve your self tape auditions, callbacks as well as live zoom auditions and interviews.
