Scene Study with Michael Esposito ll- Tuesdays

Scene study, with an option to do a musical scene:  This course is an exciting 6 week scene study intensive.  With an option to add a song!  And it’s not just for the stage.  Actors will help to choose their own scenes and then work though 2 different scenes with partners over the 6 week course.  They will breakdown their scenes, analyze the script, develop their characters, understand the genre and learn how the music affects their characters and the story.  After another 2 weeks of rehearsal, the actors will present the final scenes for filming in the last class.  And those who have chosen to do a musical scene, will perform their scene with the song.  This takeaway “demo” will help them to gain an agent, use in their demo reel or share with friends and family.  This class is a way to grow outside your comfort zone and express new aspects of character and self.  No music knowledge or previous training required. (6) classes total.*

*There will be no classes August 5 and 12 as Michael will be out of town, so classes will resume on the 19th.
