ACTING ON CAMERA for Amazing Adults- DS

Join us for this fun filled, comprehensive “On Camera” acting class for AMAZING Adults (Down Syndrome)

This weekly class will concentrate on the FOUNDATIONS of acting with a specific focus as it applies to TV & Film; character, relationship, camera shots, frame, camera angles, eyelines, continuity and pacing.

We will also be informing students and their team about what is needed to start their career in the industry and how to navigate the journey.  This includes understanding headshots, resumes, training, special skills, auditioning and interviews as well as working as a  background performer(BG).

Topics covered:

-Character “types” and roles

-Story elements and genres

-Scenes and scripts

-Auditions and Slates

-The Film Set; Who’s who, departments, crew, equipment, “circus”, terminology and etiquette.

Weekly classes will include theatre style warmups, acting exercises, discussion of movies, shows and scenes and on camera work for students.
